At a time when the return to European production is more important than ever, Dresseur de Tables is focused not only on the national production of Made in France but also on local production exclusively in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (AURA) region, traditionally a bastion of the French textile industry. Indeed, all the necessary stages for the manufacture of textiles are carried out in the AURA region. Our products do not travel more than 400 km to complete their manufacturing. To make a fabric of the yarn, both the twisting and the weaving, are realized in our workshops in Romans-sur-Isère (Drôme) with the help of our craftspersons.
Phase 1: Taming the thread

The art of weaving. All the experience of our craftsmen for a combination of wefts and colors that compose the recognized quality of our 100% made in France products. This process, although largely automated, still requires valuable know-how.
Once woven, the bolts of cloth leave for Chessy-les-Mines (Rhône, 132 km) to the company Mathelin, for the refinement of the fabric. This process consists of passing the fabric through a machine to “shrink”, to stabilize its dimensions before the product is manufactured. This step is done in a 100% ecological way, as evidenced by the Oeko-Tex certification, which guarantees environmental-friendly production.
Phase 2: The refinement
The transition from a technical product to a noble material… The preparation and washing work, called refining, is carried out in France by Oeko-Tex certified partners.

Once stabilized, the fabric is ready for manufacturing use. For this, it passes into the hands of our special manufacturers in Valence (Drôme, 20 km) or Lentilly (Rhône, 124 km) or Sainte-Sigolène (Haute-Loire, 112 km). These craftspersons will “tame” the fabric to offer you the best linens. During this same process, the products are sewn with labels and hanging loops from Saint-Etienne (Loire, 123 km).
Phase 3: The manufacturing

Taming the shapes, knowing your reactions, fascinating the viewer, through a whole range of white items from the kitchen to the table. Care with every detail in the finishes for a spectacle of complete elegance.
